The Operator's Promise, in plain English — and the operational rules that go with it.
5.1The Plain English Version
30 days on us if you don't like it. If within your first 30 days on a paid self-serve tier you are not satisfied with our work — for any reason, your reason — that month is on us. Tell us before your first 30 days are up and we refund the full subscription fee. No questions, no escalation, no retention call. We pay because we are confident in what we do.
5.2Operational Rules
- ◆Apply the Promise via the in-app modal, an email reply to any Kixik email, or a message to kix@kixik.tech.
- ◆The Promise applies to all monthly self-serve tiers — Founder, Founder Pro, Operator, Director — within the first 30 days.
- ◆The Promise applies once per Operator across the lifetime of the relationship.
- ◆After the first invocation and refund, future months bill normally, and the Promise no longer applies. (Exception: re-subscription within 90 days is treated as good-faith re-entry, and we honor the Promise again on the new first month.)
- ◆The Promise does NOT apply to Boardroom engagements — refund terms for Boardroom are negotiated separately in the engagement MSA.
- ◆Refunds are processed within 3 business days to the original payment method.
- ◆Promise invocation cancels future billing but does not require you to leave — you can always re-subscribe later. Your Twin Memory is preserved for 12 months.
5.3Refunds Outside the Promise
In rare cases — e.g., a billing error, a long unaddressed service outage — we issue refunds at our discretion as a goodwill gesture, separate from the Promise. We will not bill you for service we failed to deliver.
